Geratric Reaganite Complains About the Stupidity of Republican Voters

It is always so quaint when Granny complains about how much better it was before, and how sorry and ignorant the whippersnappers are nowadays. Maybe next week Noonan will uncork the startling revelation that Glenn Miller would not be in the Top 40 these days.

Reagan might not be nominated now, but then again, he wasn't nominated in 1976. Invoking Reagan's timelessness to get the religious rubes in line does not seem that compelling an argument.

Reminds me of the immortal words of Democrat Dick Tuck who after hearing the finally
tally of votes in his losing run for the California State Senate in 1964 said "The people have spoken, the bastards!"  Seems like contempt for the electorate is bi-partisan.
